General Hospital

My beloved, beautiful, brilliant, amazing wife has been DVRing the soap opera General Hospital. Over the last few weeks she has watched the day’s episode in the evening, sometimes when the kids are over. I teased that she was going to get the kids hooked. Well I hate to say I told you so but…

She watched Friday’s episode over the weekend. The kids were glued to it. It ended on a cliff hanger (of course) and the kids begged Jen to not delete Monday or Tuesday’s episodes after she watched them so that they could see what happens next.

The show has caught both kids, hook line and sinker.

Apple

I read that when you purchase an apple developer program enrollment it can take up to 24 hours for them to send you an activation email. I laughed out loud because I thought that was a silly joke, harkening back to the days of dial up modems and call in message boards.

Now? (Robbie looks at his watch)… I guess they weren’t pulling my leg.

I Did It

I started watching the Star Wars the Clone Wars cartoon a while ago. The goal, apart from being a lifelong Star Wars fanatic, was to try and get the kids into it. I got through about 3.5 seasons, before it finally caught on. Last night my step son asked to watch an episode. I picked a three-parter and we got through two of them. Today, my step daughter asked to watch the third episode, and then my step son asked if we could watch them all in order.

Success.
