Why didn’t anyone tell me that today is national middle child day?  Finally, a day just for me!  A day to recognize the fact that I was the baby in the family for six years before having the title ripped away from me, thus tearing my identity to sheds and leaving me adrift in a world of expectations and bungled personality traits.  Why?  Why oh why?
