They moved our desks to the other side of the building. My view is now crummy looking buildings. It’s now good, for the most park.

There is one benefit though…

We’ve had deer come for a visit pretty regularly this month.  There were eight of them in the woods about an hour ago.  I got some pictures.  Yesterday there were five of them in our yard, not in the woods behind our yard but actually in the yard.  I failed to get pictures of those.  You’ll have to settle for today’s batch.

 

It’s okay, you can speak freely around me now.

I’ve seen The Last Jedi.  You don’t have to worry about spoiling it for me now.  What a relief, huh?

Sadly my wife didn’t go with me as planned.  She caught a cold and stayed home.  So you still have to be careful around her.  As soon as she feels better I’ll drag her to the theater.  I mean it.  Like, the instant she feels better we’re going to see that flick together.

Word has just come down to me from the powers that be that the next Lizardfish show will be April 28, 2018 at Racks (as usual). Time to start rehearsing again! Hope to see you there!

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m having a hard time dealing with the fact that a movie about Luke Skywalker is playing in theaters in general release and I have not seen it.

Other people have seen it, but not me. It’s very frustrating.

The wait is now less than 24 hours for me. Tomorrow can’t get here fast enough!

I tried getting up early so that I could go through my morning routine before the kids got up, then one of them got up early and threw off the whole plan.  None of that is what concerns me today.

What concerns me is the song that’s been stuck in my head all morning.  It’s the song the meerkats sing at the beginning of the movie The Lion King part 1 1/2.  I’ve had about two lines worth of it looping through my skull since I woke up.  What the hell is wrong with me?  What is going on?  The Lion King 1 1/2?  Me?

Clearly it’s time to take up heavy drinking.

On an unrelated note, I now have less than 29 hours to go until I see Star Wars Episode VIII The Last Jedi.  That’s 29 hours that I need to remain spoiler free.  Can I do it?  Step one: Stay off social media!

It’s going to be a really long day.

Electro Harmonix is going nuts with the whole reissue thing.  I don’t think I will get this one, but it’s pretty awesome to see Billy Corgan pitching it when you consider the effect the 70’s op amp muff had on his career.
