The walking dead is on. This is to distract everyone so no one bugs me for an hour.

Here are two mixes of the same RPM left over.  Which one sucks the least?

Originally I wanted clean guitars under the verses and heavy guitars under the choruses.  By the time I put the vocals down I decided I didn’t like that idea anymore and I dropped the song.  Yesterday I re-did the guitars under the choruses with dirty, but not terribly heavy takes.  By the time I was done I kinda liked the song again.

 

After I finished mixing it today I sort of thought to myself that maybe I had it right the first time, so I did a mix with the original guitars.

 

So my question to you, dear readers, is which version sucks the least?

There have been three performances of the high school musical so far. I have been to all three. There will be two more next weekend but I will only be able to go to one of them. I’m kinda sad about that, but happy that they are KILLING it. Good job, everyone!

We are about to leave for our weekly Weight Watchers meeting and weigh in.  I am close to a milestone.  I’d really like to reach it today.  If I don’t, that’s okay too… but I’d really like to reach it today.

Fingers crossed.

Addendum: I didn’t hit my milestone. I actually gained the same amount I needed to lose. No big deal. I’ll get it next week.

My wife though… she had an epically great week. I’m so proud of her!

Tonight was the opening night for my step kids’ 2018 High School Musical (no relation to the Disney movies).  Step daughter was in the chorus and had a couple of lines.  Her character’s name?  Adult.  Step son was in the pit band playing percussion.

The play was a lot of fun. There are two more showings tomorrow and then a couple more next weekend. I hope to see them all.

I did some recording today. It was all terrible. Just awful.
