This Powered Up Too

Making changes to the pedal board I use with the band allows for changes to the stay-at-home board.

The daisy chain power supply has been replaced with a brick. The Vapor Trail comes down from the main board and replaces the little Donner mini pedal. The Super Phat Mod also comes down from the main board. It doesn’t replace anything, functionality wise, but it boots off the Moen univibe. Everything else is the same. I had moved the Soul Food up to the main board for the last gig but now it’s back where I used to have it.

The only question left is, do I keep the Tall Font Russian or do I swap it out for the Tri Pi 70.

Four overdrives and a fuzz. Sounds about right.

Delivery Boy

Today my job as a craigslist delivery boy has taken me to two mall food courts. Here are the obligatory mall food court sky light pics. You are welcome.

My wife is selling off some computer components. Boy is she going to be surprised when I tell her about my 20% delivery fee. Heh heh evil grin.

Band Practice

Okay, before you listen to this you need to understand something.  This song is not performance ready.  Not even close.  Like, light years away from being performance ready.  This is maybe the fourth time we’ve played it, and the first time in 2-3 weeks.  Also, it’s recorded with an iPhone.  It sounds like shit and the performance is shit.

Now having said that…

I have a new guitar and a new amp, Mike has a new bass, Greg is singing through a new PA, and Kevin…

Kevin has a cow bell.

Outside of this, what did we learn from yesterday’s practice?

The cat from REO Speedwagon has a stupidly high voice.  Like, what the hell, dude?

Definitively Un-Cool

Someone posted to a Facebook group that I belong to that while guitar is clearly the coolest of all musical instruments, it is possible to look un-cool while playing. The mouth breather on the right side of this photo completely agrees.
