I’ve got the amp just on the edge of breaking up. The gain on the Tumnus is all the way down and the level is up kinda high. The amp volume is low enough that I wasn’t bothering the family. How did it sound?
Sweet, that’s how it sounds!
I got some new toys yesterday. I’ve got these earmarked for this year’s RPM Challenge. After that, the phaser goes on the stay-at-home board and the Tumnus… either it replaces the Tube Screamer and the Soul Food on the stay-at-home, or maybe it pairs with the OCD and the two go back onto the band board in place of the D&M Drive. We’ll have to see how it works out next month.
I know, I get it. You are feeling neglected.
I’m sorry. I want to spend some time with you guys, I just haven’t had any time to spare. I mean, I got a pedal for Christmas (a little mini pitch shifter that I expect to play the crap out of) and I’ve got two pedals coming on Monday too. One is an upgrade for the Phaser on my stay-at-home board, and the other is a Klon Klone that will hopefully assuage my out of control desire for an actual Klon (KTR, not Centaur… I mean it’s not like I’m made of money over here).
I’ll spend time with you soon. This weekend, I hope. I promise. Now, don’t give me that look. I said I promised!
I’ve had a few people tell me that I need to check out the Netflix series Haunting of Hill House. I’ve been meaning to check it out for a few weeks and today I decided to watch the first episode. I’m 40 minutes into the first 60 minutes and we’ve already set the world record for jump scares. That’s not the really interesting part though.
As the show starts we are hopping between different locations and meeting different characters. We start in the past, then jump to the present and meet one guy, then we jump to another place and it is…
Methuen, MA.
Methuen, MA?
I LIVE IN METHUEN, MA!!!
Will I ever sleep again? I’ll keep watching and let you know.

It’s been a long time since I failed miserably on a photo a day challenge. New Years Day seems like a good day to start working toward the next total failure. I took three pictures today, all with my phone. Here’s one of them. Call it #1 out of 365. We played Ticket to Ride Europe over Larry’s tonight and I thought of texting this to him to show that we are a hard core Ticket to Ride household. I didn’t text it though.
