Good news, even though I’m sure he’ll never set food in a jail cell. It’s still good news.

NPR said they’re the lowest level of felonies and typically only result in probation. However, other things could cause that probation to be revoked. Also, sentencing is decided after private Q&A with the judge, including things like remorse…. AS IF that ass could feel remorse! Plus, there will surely be an appeal.
More concerning is the ripple effect if he wins re-election – his ongoing attack on the justice system, a felon as president, the impact on world-view of the US (“Corruption is now king and the king is corrupt.”).
Plus, it’s just gonna embolden him and the MAGAs. Very realistically, the first step toward civil war. (That’s my worry, not NPRs. Well, not states.)

I also have heard commentators say he will not or should do prison time for his low level crime. However, remember Martha Stewart did prison time for a white collar crime and not to mention Michael Cohen also did time for being involved in the same crime as the former president. If he does not get jail time, it means not everyone is equal under the law and the he IS above the law.

His cult will still revere him, as evidenced by some of the comments on that Instagram link. Because you just can’t fix stupid!
