Boxing Day Blues

Working on the day after Christmas does indeed suck, but if you have to do it, telecommuting is really the way to go.

Says the guy who got to sleep a little late because it’s his telecommuting day.

The Rudolph present was an HDTV to replace the 100 year old SDTV we had in the cellar. Rudolph brought us a Wiiu as well. I want to get a cheap blu-ray player and an Apple TV too.

Christmas exploded all over the damn place.

The kids woke up at their Dad’s house this morning, so we haven’t had our Christmas gift bonanza yet. I was just thinking to myself that I would not use my Nikon this year. I was just going to use my iPhone and the camera+ app and that would be all. No lugging around the bag and stuff this year, just the phone. I was thinking of our Christmas celebration at home and our Christmas dinner celebration at my sister’s house later tonight.

Less than five minutes after coming to this command decision I was putting the wide lens on the Nikon and snapping pics of the tree.

Camera+ is a great app, but really… who the hell was I trying to kid?

The annual Christmas Eve party has wrapped up for another year. Thanks to Nana and Papa and the kids’ Dad and Step Mother for joining us. We had a lot of fun.

The big day is just a couple of hours away. Get to bed now or Santa might not come!
