My wife and I spent last night at a bed and breakfast North of North Conway, NH. The B&B has one room in a building that is separate from the main building. That’s where we stayed. When I say it was a room, I really mean it was a four bedroom house on the side of a mountain with a fireplace in the middle of the living room, a huge deck in the back and a private hot tub.
Yeah, deluxe is right.
Unfortunately, the get away is temporarily over. Tonight is my wife’s company Christmas party. She’s a big wig there now so she really can’t miss it, even though we had our get away scheduled before the party was scheduled. Still, we took one for the team. We drove up yesterday afternoon, stayed the night, slept embarrassingly late this morning, got up and drove home. We’ll go back tomorrow and finish our weekend.
Did I mention the private hot tub? Have you ever sat in a private, outdoor hot tub when the air temperature is in the 20’s and the water temperature is a touch over 100?
I highly recommend it.
I’ll have pics of the room later, (to go along with the groovy multi-exposure Hipstamatic pic I posted a few minutes ago) but for now I am just going to enjoy the memory of the private outdoor hot tub.
