Kevin, my now ex-drummer just came and picked up his drums.
I feel like I let everyone down. I got their hopes up and then dashed them. I felt selfish for having wanted to start the band when I only had so much family time available to me, and now I feel selfish for wanting out of the band I felt selfish for being in in the first place.
The good news is that Kevin just told me that he and Mike are planning to continue without me. I told Kevin that I’d be the first one through the door when they play out, and I mean it.
