Body My girlfriend is the greatest.  Have I mentioned that?  (Hi Jen!)

Yesterday we were joking around about getting tickets to Game 1 of the American League Division Playoff between the Los Angeles Angels of California at Anaheim and our heroic Boston Red Sox.

Next thing I know The Amazing Jennifer has scored a pair of tickets.  How much ass does she kick?  I mean really?  How cool and incredible can one human being be?  She’s the greatest.

So now we have to figure out the logistics of getting us both to Fenway Park after work.  The game starts a little early so we’re both probably going to have to run out on a little work time.  Then there’s the question of whether I’m bad luck for Josh Beckett.  He only lost 7 times this year and I was at 2 of them.

Ah who cares, we’re going to a Playoff game!  This is awesome!

Last night I came up with a unique way of celebrating the tickets.  I popped a tire on the highway on the way to Jen’s house.  I heard it happen about an exit before the New Hampshire line, and when I parked on her street I could hear the air hissing out.

Fun

So I thought of 100 different ways I could pass the buck and get some one else to change the tire for me.  Then after a while I just said the hell with it and changed it myself.  So I got to show off my serious automotive skills to my chick.

In case you didn’t notice, the statement about automotive skills was drowning in sarcasm.  I am the anti-moterhead.  I haven’t a clue.  I can drive the car but that’s it… but at least I can change a tire.

So maybe I’m useless when it comes to cars, but at least I have a fantastic girlfriend who scored tickets to an MLB playoff game at Fenway Park.

Thanks Jen!

Go Sox!
