Pretty much just a scenic driving day on the plate for today. We are
going to head East into the mountains, possibly as far as the desert.

I've never been to a desert before so I don't know exactly what to
expect. The mountains here are very different from those in New
England. They are brown and rocky where at home they are green.

My wife pondering the meaning of the song "Besame Mucho" in a Mexican
restaurant, Cafe Coyote, about 15 miles away from Mexico.

This is fast becoming the "milk shake" honeymoon and the best so far
is in Ruby's in San Juan Capistrano.

We are leaving L.A. We are heading back to San Diego. We saw
Hollywood Blvd and the Sunset Strip and Rodeo Drive. We stayed on
Wilshire Blvd and caught a game at Dodgers Stadium. The Dodgers beat
the Padres. We are going to take our time heading back south and stop
wherever we please on the way. Possibly San Juan Capistrano and maybe
a beach or two.

My wife's new do, two $3.50 10 ounce bottles of Canada Dry, two
iPhones with the Facebook app, and can't get back to San Diego fast
enough. Los Angeles is not terribly impressive by comparison.
