I forgot to do this on Friday. More renovation progress. New window and door trim, some new pipe work in the future bathroom, and INSULATION, BABIE!!!!

Yesterday was the last day of Summer. It seemed like a good day to take a random drive up to the White Mountains. I love our little road trips.

My beloved wife’s former college book store is now a Democratic Party office.  Seems like a fair trade.

 

That’s lake Winnipesaukee at the bottom of that steep hill that we were careening down. I felt like we were in a Smokey and the Bandit movie.

It’s the last day of summer so we are taking a road trip. Where are we going?

No clue. I’ll tell you when we get there.

We have pipes.

Patches doesn’t care.

There is a new window. The door is the old door, it’s just in a new place.

So Mike the bass player had a cookout yesterday and the band played.  Not really a concert sort of thing, more like a rehearsal where we let people we know listen.  It was fun.

AND I RECORDED IT!

GarageBand, seven microphones, stereo mix.  It sounds like shit, but as shit goes it sounds pretty good.  I’m kinda jazzed over this, to be honest with you all.  I took out the worst of the performances and left in the ones with the fewest mistakes and put them on soundcloud so I could share them with all of you.

Did we just accidentally record our first album?  I think we might have!
