Mass Transit isn’t bad, but I am fairly sure there was already a band gigging around the state with that name. Not sure if they still exist or not.

There has to have been at least one band using that name. It’s too fitting for a band in Massachusetts. There have probably been 100 of them over the years.

I found two currently active, One in Colorado and one in NY. I’m sure you are right and 100s have used it over the years, especially in the Commonwealth.
I do distinctly remember one called MassConn Fusion, but I’m pretty sure MT was a thing too.
