Their region of Vermont is absolutely gorgeous, but I’m a Massachusetts guy to the core of my soul. I belong here.

I read that some Vermont cities will even pay you to move to their locale.

Not Burlington. Burlington, when the University of Vermont classes are in session, has a major housing shortage. Both of my step kids are paying a fortune in rent for tiny apartments with many, many roommates. It’s crazy there.

That’s one reason I recommend students consider a two year degree to better prepare for these away from home University burdens
