How did you spend your lunch break today?
My company gives us food for Christmas. We can get a turkey (in one of three sizes, one of which is kosher) or a ham or a lasagna (two sauce options and a veggie option). I always want the turkey, but there is a problem. We don’t have a lot of freezer space in the house. If I get a turkey we pretty much have to cook it right away and that’s really tough to do around Christmas time.
Yesterday was Christmas gift day. I left it outside last night because it was blistering cold and there was no way that birdy was going to thaw. Today I spent my lunch break dealing with our freezer. There was a ton of stuff in there and not a lot of room. I wanted to see if I could clear enough space for the turkey.
Did I ever!
