Time to suspend the Pasta Watch. Sure, it was fun while it lasted but he’s far enough off the goal-a-game pace now that it’s not very likely he’ll catch up. If he does, I’ll start watching again.

That still has him in the league lead with a five goal cushion over Alex Ovechkin, but to be four goals off the pace… yeah, it’s done.
The next game is tomorrow against the Avalanche. Here’s hoping for some first and second period goal scoring, for a change.
