Easter Recording

I did a little recording today. I “celebrated” Easter by using the Klon pedal on a demo for the first time. I like it, very much.

Every week I check in on Reddit’s Song a Week board to see if anything inspires me. This week’s challenge is to write something in 9/16 time. That’s not a typo: 9/16.

I’m game. I used the GarageBand drummer to set a beat, then added a bass part that sort of hit the right accent points. Then I added some guitar parts to flesh it out… a little. If I write lyrics and a melody I could end up with a song in the weirdest time signature ever…. after which I will never use it again.
