I was trying to write lyrics and I was stuck like you’ve read about. Nothing was coming to me. I needed outside inspiration. I Googled “New England ghost stories” and found this boston.com article and next thing you know I’ve got three songs.
I just finished mixing the third song. It’s got me thinking…
I am still holding out hope of finishing a double album this year. 20 songs or 70 minutes instead of 10 songs and 35 minutes. What if one of those albums was all New England ghost stories? What if disc one of The White Album had been a concept, or a theme album? Could I pull that off?
