Less than two weeks until RPM starts. I’m getting ready. I’ve setup a brand new soundcloud account to dump the files to so I can share them here. I’ve also got the requisite new gmail account so I can open the soundcloud account. I use the same name every year, I just add a number as a suffix. I’m up to 12. Not sure how that happened. I’ve also created a Google doc for lyric ideas and a Trello board for tracking progress. The Trello board is actually the board I created for 5090 back in July that I never used. Better luck next month.
There is a thread on the RPM forum where folks are listening to all of their prior February projects and sort of self-reviewing. Part of me wants to join in the discussion, but I’m one song into my first finished album (2012) and I already want to stop forever. The worst part is that I think I’ve written that very same song about 20 times since then. I’m really not good at this whole thing at all.
