I’m using Apple Music to expand my horizons a tiny bit. When I was in High School I read Hammer of the Gods, the Led Zeppelin biography. It mentions that Jimmy Page’s first choice for vocals was Terry Reid. I’d never heard of him, and until about 20 minutes ago had never actually heard him sing. Now that I’ve heard him, what do I think? He and Robert Plant sound really similar, but I think I prefer this guy. Weird, right?
