Body No more Friends for us.

Coming from some one who generally avoids television (excepting sports and cartoons) this might sound a little odd… it probably is odd… but I don’t care.  HA

A while ago… I can’t remember when but it must have been a couple of months at least… I was doing something in the kitchen and Jen was watching TV.  As is almost always the case (excepting sports and cartoons) there was nothing on worth watching.  So she got up and checked out the DVD rack.

She picked up her copy of the first season of Friends and popped in the pilot.  I made a bad joke about how if she was going to watch the first ever episode she would have to watch them all (10 seasons worth) in order.

So we did.

Last night we watched The Last One.  All done.  No more Friends for us!

Done.  No more.  All finished.  Just in time for the baseball playoffs.  (I’m rooting for Boston in the American League [duh] and Milwaukee in the National League.  I don’t really think either team is going to go very far, but they are the ones I’m backing.)  And lets not forget what else kicks off in just a few days… HOCKEY!

Now that we’ve watched the complete 10 seasons of Friends we have to find another TV show that is out on DVD to watch obsessively for months.  We just picked up season 11 of South Park.  Maybe by the time we watch the first 11 years in order we’ll be able to pick up season 12!

I sense a plan……………………………
