| Body | The other day I posted a blog that ended with a rhetorical question captioning a photograph of my girlfriend Jen. She had a big smile on her face and the question posted was, What the heck is she so happy about? Or something along those lines.
I can answer that question now.
That picture was taken shortly after we bought a diamond ring together. Last night I popped the question and (thankfully) she said Yes! (whew!) We were outside in the back yard grilling up dinner and just generally being happy and I figured that there was no better place to do it (our home, the place where we’ve already started our life together) and there was no better time either (the only time I could imagine when she wouldn’t see it coming. hehe) So I got down on one knee and asked and she said yes… and that is what she is so happy about… and I’m pretty happy too. hehe
