| Body | Harry is 4 years old. He summed up the trick or treating experience in Haverhill last night by saying (repeatedly), “This is the worst rain storm ever!”
He was so right. Just a few houses into the trick or treating goodness and the rain started. It rained. It poured. It was a rainfall barage… and any other synonyms for rain that the average thesaurus can dig up So the Haverhill trick or treating was a bit of a bust (better luck on Wednesday in Salem) but at least it lead to a Red Sox win. We listened to Sgt Pepper a couple of times and we had some ice cream, but we skipped the hot dog and pretzel superstitions at first. Then in the 7th inning when the Rockies cut the lead to one we started scarfing down pretzels. Victory. Game 4 tonight. Go Sox. |
