Going Away for a couple of Days

Jen likes Blackjack.  I like Jen.  So we’re going to Foxwoods so Jen can play Blackjack.  I generally don’t gamble, beyond the odd lottery ticket (I swear my destiny is a powerball jackpot), so I’m sorta going for the ride and the company.  I might play a hand or two, or a slot or two.  We’ll see.  I’ve never had much money of my own so I tend to avoid throwing it away on a gamble.

Wednesday night is the Rush concert at the venue formerly known as Great Woods in Mansfield, MA.  I’m getting psyched.  I had planned to take Wednesday and Thursday off, but now that looks unlikely.  I have a few sites going live the following weekend and they look as though they are going to need lots of attention over their last week.  It was a good plan anyway.  The Rush gig at Mohegan Sun on July 9th (I think?) is still showing as sold out on ticketmaster.com.  If more tickets become available I will grab one and make the drive down there myself if I have to.

Anyway, I’m packed and ready to go.  I flipped a coin to see who’s car we’d take and Jen’s car won.  Sorry Buick.  That means Rob will be in the passenger seat for a long drive… and Rob will be bringing the groovy camera… so expect a few lame highway pictures early next week.  Groovy.
