More camera phone fun & My painful weekend

When I first bought the camera phone it hadn’t occured to me that really don’t have anything to photograph.  So I figured that seeing as my commute is 85 miles round trip and often takes well over 2 hours total that I could snap pictures while I drive.

I’m not a car guy by any stretch.  The extent of my knowledge is getting in, driving, and getting out… but even a schmo like me can appreciate one of these.

It’s a lotus, on 128 South Thursday morning.

Now for the most commonly photographed event.  Accidents.  This picture sucks more than most of them do, but you can kinda see the lights on the police car and the tow truck.

Finally… my wasted weekend that will be.

I’m on call for the weekend.  Starting at 10pm tonight (Friday) and ending at 9am Monday.  I’m still going to the Justin Fund benefit, but only because it’s close enough to home that if something for work comes up I can get to my PC quickly enough to handle it without causing customers any grief.

It’s the down side of my job… at least until I take the compensation time to make up for it.  I might work this weekend, but I know I’ll get at least a few hours off in exchange.  Not bad when you look at the big picture.
